don't much care for the delay/verb ..... is that the 'room' sound? It really does away with any definition to the snare. It sounds like it's mostly applied to the drums though ..... not hearing it so much on the vox and sax.
....... vox sounds decent ....... a little muffled sounding to my ears. I like vox upfront personally ..... that's what the masses want to hear and this is vocal driven music .... it's not death-core ...... :D
I'm listening thru ATH-AD700's BTW.

Like the tunage although that's not your concern.

Great job for a 15 minute set-up ......... I wouldn't want to have to do that.

thats cool henry!didnt know you did tv stations too!
chris from vt.

The sax kills dude. Vocals are pretty balanced and you can certainly make out every word. I'm personally biased towards a snare. So that being considered, the only negative I have is lack of snare. In this effort I found the snare a bit lost. I could hear it more in the room than in the close. Again, the best sounding thing on the track is the sax. I would take that sax sound in the studio with 3 hours setting it up. What did you do with it? Don't tell me you just threw a mic on it and made it an afterthought.

Nice work moresound. They sound good - even with the station's multiband processing warping it. I've played on TV a half dozen times and the broadcast processing absolutely hammered the audio every time. Frustrating. Do you have anything you've recorded by the band you can post that doesn't have TV processing or YTube involved?

Thanks XLR! I know TV sucks but for the band they get tones of publicity.

Excellent work Brotha!!! I know "I" couldn't pull that off in 15 minutes!!!
I'd probably drop dead of a heart attack, within that time frame,...wonderin' if everything was gonna sound good!!!
Doin' live sound, & recording at the SAME TIME is brutal.
For the time frame you had,...Everything sounded great.

Sounded good considering. Drum sound was horrible, but understandably so. When are TV execs gonna start pandering to us folk who have more than a 3-inch tweeter on our TVs?

It does sound sound compressed to Hell and back, but that's typical of TV. To me all it needs is a better drum sound, especially the kick, but considering it's a rush job, I think it's pretty good. Band's pretty good too.

Dude!
Sorry I'm late. :o Just saw your note.

This is you under pressure? Nice job. ;)
Nothin you can do about the super-squash they do to it afterwards. Overall, I think ya done good.

Bravo sir. :drunk:

Thanks guys. working under pressure is one thing but working under compression is another.

You know I was standing right in the control room at one point, right next to the compressor, all I had to do is reach over and ..... probably would have gotten into a world of SH!T though! :laughings:
