improvement for metal guitar tone.

Hi guys! I just record my guitar take and my amps,cabinet setup etc below. So I have question for you can you tell me what can be done better with it cuse I searching for high gain tone where the bass mids and high guitar tone playing nice together. Meybe I need other amps, cabinet, meybe other sequence of those plugins ? I even dont know really purpose of gate which is first plugin I just saw this configurattion.



My plugins setup for L and R guitars (There are a quiet different in setting)

Waves Audio track gate
TSE distortion 808
EQ for get mids up
TSE X40 amp
Paulin Lecab 2 (JJ Powertube Impulses)
another eq for gets low mids up
Waves req 2 bands to cut low and high freq

Man we really need a metal tone thread around this joint. I'll bite.

This is my recto and 5150 through vintage 30s (olas direct tracks). I'll throw up an amp sim one here shortly.

There are no effects on this guitar that I know of. This is Peavey revalver 6505 using a mesa impulse sm57.

I'll try to find these projects and come up with something a little better in terms of how I got there.

Thank m8. But I dont know meybe I'm doing something wrong. I inserted all those plugins for L and for R guitars. Almost 7 plugins for each L and R guitar and all I get is one BIG FUUUZZZ! ....

Listening to your original track I would say you need to play the part twice and not just copy paste the parts.

Also some info:

Amplitube 3 was the free version, I just bought those 2 amps separate.

Revalver is paid and kind of expensive.

Lepou stuff if free as is ignite amps stuff.

Recabinet 3 is paid, but really inexpensive. It's $40 IIRC and comes with some killer cab impulses. You can blend cabs, but as you can see I opted not to.

Podfarm 2 is not that cheap either.

VST amp rack comes with the full version of cubase, as far as I know that's the only way to get it.

The revalver clip uses a impulse that I created of my guitar cabinet. You can download it off of my website for free if you want it.
