My Presonous HP4 headphone amp crapped out on me, and my Audiophile 24/96 doesn't fit in this new computer because it has no original PCI slots.

I just want an external interface I can hook the outputs of the DMP3 to so I can record from it without using my internal/standard sound card.

I'm not really sure what to get. I just need 2 channels, nothing expensive.

ie:

Microphones -> DMP3 -> [External interface] -> DAW (Reaper)

Any suggestions for the most basic thing I can get?

If you want a standard interface - The Tascam 144mkii is a little over $100. 2 balanced line-ins for your dmp3, and it has mic pre's too, probably not bad ones either. It'll record all 4 channels. I know you said 2, but if you ever want to expand... And you won't get a decent 2 channel interface for a whole lot cheaper.

Then there's USB mixer's which I'm a big fan of. I spent a lotta years working with a yamaha mw series one.. You can keep all your stuff plugged in all the time, no moving cables around all the time. Then it can operate as a standalone mixer too if you ever have the need. Yamaha MW, Alesis Multimix, even the behry xenyx's would be ok since you have your own pre's.. There's a lot of options well under $200.
