I have a pair of Alesis Point 7 monitors for you.
They aren't going to give you the Mackie/Genelec/KRK sound (not even close), but you can put them right next to your PC/MAC monitor. They're shielded for that.
I used to use them at my midi station. They are in new condition.
$125.00 you pay shipping.
I also have for sale an Alesis RA-100 to power them.

i'm going to go ahead and stick it out for the mackies. listening to all of the advice on this forum, that would be the the right move for a young jedi recorder. that 150 was very tempting.thanx blue bear, and mgr pro. now if anyone has some used genelics or mackies, bring em on.
