I'm looking for production tips and hints

I'd be grateful if anyone can point me in the direction of an internet page or possibly a good book where I can find out about production ideas in general.

I work with Logic 4.7 on a mac and have one sampler, one synth, a piano and a good mic. I'm a guitarist essentially but I aim to create decent electronica.
