with a sampler called Kompakt!

It like,completely kicks ASS!

From this point forward any sampler that does'nt support most if not all formats is a JOKE!
Also if it does'nt support huge samples with direct from disc reading,it is just a pretender.

My sampler can kick your samplers ASS!
unless you have Kontakt that is....
 
Aw man, acid. :( I've got children in college and ex-wives to support. ;)

I saw the list of samples provided, and it is quite impressive. The question is, are they any good? I mean, I would take 1/10th of that volume if I could get horn samples that sounded like Chuck.

Ah, on second thought let me think about that last statement for awhile. :D
 
The string samples are very good,I have'nt gotten to the horns yet.
I converted some of my GIGA files with no problem.Gigapiano is 650 megs!!!This means I have a HUGE collection of sounds.

The thing is,you can get as good of sounds as you can dream of,but it'll cost you $$$$$.

This program is v-e-r-y e-a-s-y to use.
 
So how much is it cut down from Kontakt? I've been trying to find some specifics about the difference between the two, but since kompakt is so new I haven't heard much about it.

Hey thanks :) I check NI's site when I first heard about it, but they didn't have that much info about it then.

It looks very tempting. My sampling needs aren't that extensive so I always thought something like kontakt or halion would be a little overkill. But at the same time I wanted something of quality, so this might be just what I was looking for.

A/r, I told you so, after kompakt or kompakt, why would you want any other sampler for use in Sonar?:)

But seriously folks,I don't think I'll be using any other DXI from this point forward,for natural or synthesised sounds.:cool:
