Hey guys!

1.What are good hard drives for recording?

2.Is ide ok? ive been looking at a 20gb 7200rpm ide..

3.Now is that good for say 16 - 32 tracks?

And im recording other bands beyond my own.

4.now will i be able to do alot of track minutes as well to suit that purpose...

And yes i am adding this hard drive for audio only I'll use my old one for programs and other things.

I have a Gateway, pII processor 350mhz, 64mb of ram(will be upgraded to 128 or more) running windows98....

Hey Reco,

I'm using a Quantum KA 7200 RPM. It works very well, I'm up to 24 Tracks with one song I'm working on. Get that 128MB ... too bad it's so damn expensive now. Cost more than your drive :)
