Sorry about the third mix guys, during mixdown the vocals got out of sync with the song (???) so, I need to mix it down again and will post hopefully in a few hours when I get off of work...THANKS everyone, especially you two guys --^

I'm going to go through and try to rep everyone tonight, as well!

Uploaded the third mix...this one should not be messed up now.

I EQ'd the guitar a little differently this time around, also boosted the vocals, and spaced out the clean guitar. I did something with the drums but can't hardly remember :D :P

Again, the song is really nice, though I don't feel the power of the drums. You've reduce the reverb a bit and put a little more gain to the kick, am I right? That's fine. The drums on the second mix were a bit too loud, but okay. Now it seems they have a bit disappear in the mix. They should be "in your face"-like. Maybe they're just not loud enough or everything else's too loud. It's my only complaint. Vocals are A1. Bass guitar is cool. Lead guitar has a nice tone, a real "kickass" sound for my taste. Boost the drumkit and you have your ticket to the paradise (or hell, you decide... lol) of sound and music.

Listening to the 3rd mix as I type......

Drums way, way too buried. You simply can't have a modern rock mix with afterthought drums. This mix is all guitar and vocals. The kick and snare should be driving this song. That's where your mix/balance problem lies. Bring the drums way up. When you think they're too loud, that's where they should probably be. Then maybe address the bass without losing the kick. A modern "scooped" bass sound would suit this song well.

I know it's almost 2 years later, but have you work on this song since then? I would be interested in hearing it again!
