Has anyone tried out the new Amplitube live?..well i did last night..i downloaded the demo version..i think its way better than guitar rig! except you get less options and less cabs options but when i first pluged in my guitar to it it sounded awsome! it sounded better than my V-amp 2..i think its made for more rock and Metal players. well if anyone has tried it let me know what you guys think of it?

I have the full package and it really is great! True, you don't get the brilliant speaker and mic choices that guitar rig offer but I found the overall tone to be sweet!

I've been putting my strat through a good pre amp and playing through amplitube (in my headphones) while recording. It works brilliantly and the best thing is that you can alter the tone completely if you find that it doesn't sit in the mix well... very handy!

... the speaker and mic placement feature would be a great addition for amplitube 2???
