I tried posting earlier two times, and both times i had a lengthy question, and neither posted for some reason?
anywho, i have been out of a studio for two years now, and just bought a house! Now i'm in the process of setting up the basement as a live recording room. I have a dell laptop, and i'm interfacing with an RME Multface unit, into Sonar 4 . I installed Sonar and the RME unit, and both installs went smoothly. I disabled the anti virus software.My problem is that Sonar doesn't seen to be seeing the sound device. All the inputs say none. the wave profiler etc. won't work. I've uninstalled and re-installed both to no avail! Any ideas?
