Well, having just listened to your stuff, I would say you should investigate a few Behringer peices.

I love being a moron that can use whatever tool is available and use it well.

Damn, all this time I thought I was cool because I have a Behringer composer pro and a Behringer headphone amp linked together in my headphone monitoring chain:(

I guess I'm a lot dumber for investing in the V-Amp Pro and saving half what the inteligent people paid for their PODs even though they got less routing functions, poorer ergonomics and less functionability

The signal noise on the S/PDIF out isn't even measurable.

Ive owned some behringer crap in my time but the V-Amp Pro, the HA4700 headphone amp and even the old 2100 composer are pieces I can sleep easily with in my rack
 
honostly, i dont know why people bash behringer so much...now im more of an m-audio fan..and the only bahringer item i own is the bcf2000...but im liking it....probably not the best but for the price it cant be beat....you get what you pay for

Hmmm This old debate again huh! Why does Behringer divide us all so much? The topic of abortion is less incendary! I have friends that believe in creationism and they come under less hostility that any Behringer gear owner. For fuck sake let it lie. Its what you do with the gear that counts, no piece of equipment should detract from the creative process..if the thing hisses like fuck, or dosent work the way it should try some thing else. When will this all end? Behringer are not going to go away, like it or like it not, Some people really like what they make. And another thing its cheap enough to allow kids to get into recording, not to mention people that cant afford Neve, Neumann or even Makie for fuck sake..im quite sure Uli aint shitting it.
 
I am sooooo bored with Behringer bashing. No secret that it is very low cost which means there are shortcuts in the materials and labor. No secret that they have a reputation for reverse enginnering (not something I support - but it goes on all the time in every industry). No secret that there are certain quality control issues.

But - sheeesh - hasn't this be discussed to death?????? For people who can't afford much but who want to perform/record - it can be a short term sollution. Some pieces of Behringer gear are decent. I use a headphone mixer from Behringer that does a fine job (headphone mixes are not a critical signal path). I use a B compressor that works well. I have a V-amp that actually works well compared to my more costly Pod and J-Station.

chessrock has contributed some good infromation on this site - why he chosses to waste his time on yet another Behringer sucks thread is something only he knows.

Is Behring cheap? Yes. Is there better? Yes Is everypiece of B gear horrid? No.
 
cheesrock - I just realized your post was in response to the "if you bash Behringer post. Now I understand why you chose to "waste your time" posting this thread.
