Thank ya'll so much for listening. I'm going to be an ass and bump this thread b/c I took a shot at mixing the drum tracks graciously donated by "jwoo10" from over at that "other" site.



Feel more than free to tell me I botched it. I thrive on harsh criticism like "YOU SUCK" and "MY DEAD GRANDMOTHER CAN OUTMIX YOU!!!"
 
Wow....inspiring stuff man. Went to the site and listened to the other MP3's....great stuff! Great talent and it's gotta be cool to have that extra connection with your daughter.

Looking forward to hearing the song you posted here with real drums.

Dude...YOU SUCK!!!!! Ok, just had to do that... :D I think you did a good job with the mix. Love the tune. Very nice.
 
What a great song, thanks very much!! It must be a blast to record with your daughter and you must be very proud, she's a great singer.

No I'm just kidding. :D That sound is increadible... It's no where near the style of music I play (or even listen to) but it's wonderful. I don't know a how lot about mixing or even recording, but I know what sounds good and that sound killer man!

And if you wouldn't of said you played that with a battery, I would of never known.

Seriously, one more time. That song rocked. I couldn't definately see it making commerical success. :D
 
Nice tune. Great mix. It would sound fantastic with real drums. Man your daughter has a killer voice. Really nice !!! :cool:
 
Man, I couldn't actually tel at first that original drums were a machine (until I heard a few tom fills and somebody else mentioned it), but can really hear the difference with real drums. Nice, very bloody nice work
 
I love all of your stuff. To everybody who checks out their web page listen to the live version of "time to leave" at the bottom.

I've been listening to that song on and off for like 9 months. It is frickin' awesome!!!!!!!!! This is an example for me of how putting emotion into a vocal performance can be soooo much better than a perfect studio take.

Nice work on all your stuff! I swear I have a goal of writing a good "commercial" song and when I do I"m going to beg to have Jamiee sing it. Of course I think Time to Leave could be on the radio right now.
 
Very Good Song, I like it from start to finish, Your daughter has great vocals...Keep up the good work...Also, :Edit: This is coming from a 16 year Old ;) Not sure if that makes it a better compliment or not :eek: but congratulations on the mix, very good.
