I recently laid down some guitar tracks with a friend of mine using my PODxt on his system - nothing important; however, a couple I'd like to use for a project. These are reproducable, but I like the feel of the tracks. Here's the problem...my dumbarse forgot he had a CRT monitor and not LCD (which I'm used to). And I'm sure you've guessed by now, they were humbucker pickups. Curious if anyone knows a good notch frequency or other method to remove this noise. I've messed with some noise removal tools - couldn't get the results I need without smothering the sound I want to keep. I also took a EQ notch of about 300 wide that was bottomed out and swept across the frequencies. This helped in spots, but led me to the conclusion that different frequencies will need to be notched out. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
