Good idea, you've got John's manual for the mic placements.

But would it be nice to have more formats like sf2? which I use a lot in NI's kontakt.
 
Seperate files are usually better, depending on the database software you plan on using.

I think the XMB bulletin board saves it's files separately...

Although the most important thing is, is to make sure that people 'follow the rules' - meaning that they don't fill the posts full of shit, and also follow the same format for describing where the mic's are placed.

As for the format they should be saved in - for now, i think Wav is best, as it's really universal.

I need to look into PHP, and see how i upload files etc... urghhh...

Maybe you could put WAVs but compressed with winzip or similar format
