I will never be a mastering Engineer. It took me 15 years to learn what I know today I'll be damned if I start diving into Mastering.. I tried it a few times and crashed miserably.. This is not for me it is too complex... No nO! No!

How do you guy's do it without going insane?

I will just stick to figgeting around...

Yo BoyoBoyher:

Most of us just figget around; but, some have better figget knowledge.

Green Hornet :p :D :p

If you intend to market your music, let the pro ME handle it.
If your doing it as a hobby, just do what you like. If you screw it up, start over. Non-destructive editing is a great feature. I try to master a song 10 different ways and keep the one I like best.;)

"I will never be a mastering Engineer."

Oh, yeah?

Well, I can top that.

I will never be a tracking engineer or a mixing engineer, let alone a mastering engineer. Hell, I'm even a lousy model train engineer!

"Home Mastering"? That's comparable to "Home Uranium Enrichment".:D

Neighborhood Nuclear Superiority. I like the sound of it.

I am very hard headed and try to do everything my way. I now have given in and can say that I will leave the Mastering to the pro's.. That is if I ever get a mix that is worthy..
