Well, not really. I play live approximately never (well, maybe once or twice a year). If that frequency ever picks up, I'll look into the "A-Vax" though.

I never heard one of the variaxes and am convinced it's not for me based on the trouble you've had with it. For me, I know I can get a decent sound that I cna live with. I know the audience will be fooled. It wrecks my gig completely when the equipment is fux0red. I try to keep the stuff simple and bullet proof.
