I think I'm stuck in stereo. Delta 1010 + Adobe Audition

Okay, so I've been trying to figure this out for half an hour, and I'm hopelessly new to this. Maybe someone can help me. I'm trying to get my Delta 1010 (with breakout box, not the LT) to record each buss onto it's own track, without having to hard pan everything.

My board's got 8 busses, and I've got 8 ins and outs on my Delta, but everytime I try to send something just to buss 1 (either in or out), I get Delta 1010 1/2, but not just the single thing. So I think I'm stuck in stereo, as opposed to mono, which I'd rather be.
Here's what I see when I try to change the output of any given track. Is there a way I can change a setting so that I'll get 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 seperately, or am I stuck with this?

I can't figure out how to get an image in this post, so here's a link to what I see.

whats the problem with hard panning everything?

if you send it down one side of a stereo out its a mono track, so if you arm the track 1/2, but you only have input 1 plugged into the mixer, and that channel has been panned hard left/right, then thats a mono track.

i hope that helps... if it doesn't let someone who uses that sound card help you out :p i'm using the 1010s little brother, the Delta 66 ...

That's what I ended up doing. After I posted this, I messed around with it for a bit, and go the results I wanted to.

I guess my post was stupid, hence it being in the "newbies" section. But I got it. Thanks though!
