yes
Heres the list of what I think I'm gonna get, after readind for weeks.

AKG D112 kick drum mic
Shure SM57 snare mic
3 Audix F10 dynamic mics

so is that good?

maybe you should consider the ATM 25 or whatever too for kick, ive been reading great things about it. i use the peavey 520i and like it quite a bit also. i have no idea what the f10's sound like. but that sounds good :-D

nice setup congradulations..

I had a chance to really compare 3 kick mics on my kit, in order of the best: I purchased the Audix, least amount of trouble, easy sweet spot, lower frquency thump (blends with bass the best) no eq needed!...the d112 wasnt as easy to get right but did have a cool click (more in the mid range) and I could've been happy with it if I hadnt heard the Audix..the beta 52 was a distant 3rd, (with the most mid range annoyance and sweet spot never really found)...

in order, what they cost, where they hit!

1. Audix D6 -- $199.00 list---thumps you in the balls!
2. D112 -- $199.00 list --- hits you in the gut!

.
.
3. Beta 52 --$189.00 list-- smacks you in the chest!

good luck and make some music!

tom18222... yeah, that should work good. PS... IMO, both the D112 and ATM25 have there place on kick depending on the sound your after... but, one of my favorites is the MD421. Anyway, your drum mic selection should kick ass.

what if i used ADX-90 Clip-on Condenser Mic for toms instead, i seem to be digging them more.
