on a side note, ive actually recorded a lot of stuff, but here is the first thing i ever really tried recording, its a cover song, and some of the quality got lost due to internt uploading and such. and i know there is tooo much 'verb on the vocals lol

You recorded something!!

Congrats! You are now officially in the minority here :)

just looking to see what people think of it :P

It sounds harsh, but I guess that's from the compression on the site. Put a link on Lightningmp3.com or something like that so we can hear it better and comment on it. Seems like you have a ska band. Niiiice! I used to have one for 10 years. Just recently split. There's nothing better. Kudos.

The mix is a bit "run-together"--everything's hot and not a lot has room to breathe. But I still like it! Cool vibe to the tune (I don't know the original) and you've got a great voice. Nice job!

sounded true to vedders version, same groove and slightly disconnected vocals
kudos

oh thanks man, it was all done a year ago with a crap LCD and a cheap acoustic lol. (and my keyboard, i used to make fake instrument sounds) so i didn't have the best stuff to work with, but i did the best i could. i didn't give anything room to breath because i didn't think i needed to. lol i was still new to recording :P (i still am). i have 7 acoustic guitar tracks that come in right away. lol. then 2 diff flutes, 2 basses, 3 electrics (just my acoustic again with an amp that i made in my computer, tried to make it sound electric.. kinda worked lol) piano, 4 string parts 5 vocals in the chorus, just really barried. toms, tamboren, snare, shaker, and a crash cymbal miced in stereo lol... i went a bit over bored lol
