I really need more opinions

Hello
I am ready to purchase recording equipment but i need to be sure....My budget is $16000-20000 and i want things to be more UPGRADABLE then replacable. ive been using reason for years now and thats all im starting with.
ive been talking to sweetwater and we have came up with this:

g5 quad
tc electronic powercore firewire

Digi 002 rack
apogee 800 converter

genelec 1032a
presonus central station

Soundelux u195
focusrite isa 220 session pack

furniture, cabling, ect

i really want to mix/master reason songs to the highest quality and then record vocals over.

i know thats alot to answer but anything will help..
is this the right way to go? am i missing anything? please .....anyone

If all you need is one mic, why the Digi002 and especially why the Rosetta 800. It seems to me that that is way over kill and could be spent better elsewhere like in a top dollar mic pre.

Best+mic pre, mic, converter, sound card, or monitors does not exisist.

It is all in the eye (or ear rather) of the beholder.

With that you have about 12 channels to expand to that are not really being used. That is an inefficiant use of money. I can understand the DIGI002 from an expanision stand point (though there are better options in my mind [despite being an owner of one]).

As for sugestions on pres, Great rivers are good, Crane songs are really good, and in another direction of more clean are John Hardy.

Good choice, IMHO. Before you order it, I'd like to point out one thing that you won't find in the marketing material....

While the machine is quiet, the mid-range and high-end graphics cards aren't, in my experience. Maybe mine (the middle graphics card model) was just bad in some way, but it was loud enough to be a problem in a recording environment. The sole source of noise was the video card blower, though---the water-cooled CPU is beautiful---so it is relatively easy to cure if you do decide to buy one of the higher end cards.

The solution to this problem, of course, is to take off the video card blower and install a Zalman VGA cooler (preferably the all-copper version). If you do this, you can pretty much follow the instructions, though you'll have to leave off the back brace or the Zalman cooler will run into the metal plate between the PCI slots and the CPU section of the case.

Note: make sure the video card works before doing this, as doing this sort of surgery is probably sufficient to void any warranty on the video card.... :D

I won't attempt to give advice about whether to buy the bottom graphics card (which I'm told has no blower) or to buy the middle/upper one and replace the fan. Both methods have advantages and disadvantages. I just want to make sure you make the decision with your eyes open so that you don't end up wanting to throw something at your brand new machine. ;)
