Taking the slow road
Some software generates a different key requirement every time you install the product so I was just wondering if anyone here has had to deal with that situation yet. Other software like Microsoft stuff, you just have a single unlock code and it always works the same, like Windows....

Unless something changed from 3x to 4.0, you'll be fine! You get a special code, which I believe is generated from your name, so when you register N-Track, you pop-in your name and your special code, and voila! It works! It is not tied to an OS/PC/time of the month/etc...
Good luck!

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS,

Burn yourself a CD with copies of your installers and registration codes
(and even write the code down somewhere) so that when something
happens to your computer you can reinstall.

-this applies to all programs, not just N-Track.

And no, N-Track does not use PC IDs like Soundforge or Fruitlyloops
to install, just the code so write it down!!!

(On the plus side, Flavio is very good about getting back to you
if you misplace your code. )

I'll second that. I misplaced mine the last time i re-installed and he got back to me in a day or so with my code. I have since taken the "backup CD" approach so I don't have to worry about this anymore.
