So here's my idea. I have a guitar center card. I have things on ebay I want to buy.

I'm thinking if someone is willing, I could buy something from guitar center for them on my card, take a couple bucks off of how much it costs, then sell it to someone on here that wanted it.

Cash in my pocket for ebay, and something you want from GC for a couple bucks off.

It's like a really roundabout way to get a loan.

I have positive feedback in the references thread.

Anybody interested?

Why don't you just get a regular credit card and use that on ebay?

Because I can get 6 months to a year same as cash and regular credit cards rape you like there's no tomorrow.

Are you gonna pay it off when the no interest promo ends? I doubt it.
You will be paying the minimum payment with 22% interest on it for the rest of your life.

Dump that card and get a debit card. If you don't have the cash to pay for it you don't need it. :D :D :D :D

Usually cards like a Guitar Center card is far worse terms than a standard credit card. If however you always pay off within the alloted time, they can be very handy.

If one does not pay after the promo ends, all the other interest at 22+% capitalizes as well unless the term is completed...

I would be willing to make this deal with you; however, you probably wouldn't agree to my terms.
I would require that you have the item shipped directly to me from Guitar Center and, after receiving said item, I would then send you a check or paypal payment for the amount.
I have been burned on this site in the recent past and will never send money without receiving goods or services again.

If this interests you let me know.

That's always been my logic.

Not a loan or credit card to my name... yet. But I'm still young. :p

If you can stick to that philosophy, you will always be way ahead of your peers, although it may not seem like it to you at times. Easy credit is ruining a lot of lives. It's the new crack.

Stick to your guns, You are wise beyond your years.

Actually.... yes. I always do. I have everytime there's been a promo. That's the whole reason for using it.

I work in operations for GC.. completely not possible,.. If drop shipped, item must be sent to confirmed address. Address on the credit card must match the address that item is being sent to. Way to easy for fraud to be committed if it's any other way. It'd take a huge oversite on multiple people's part to overlook that, and there is no way a store manager would risk losing their job over it.

One way to possibly get the money, is.. Buy item from GC, return item to GC and ask to create credit on account. (store credit), Come back in next day and have credit on account refunded to debit card. No Interest, no payment loan... may not work though, as approving manager may notice what's going on and not allow it to be refunded to any card besides the GC card. Manager may however just not give a flying fuck, and refund it to any card. Worth a shot.
