I Press Record To Record My Vocals, But It Re-Records The Beat With It

I know its not a CEP problem, and i've even tried playing the beat in windows media while recording in CEP and it STILL records the beat. I dont know what to do.

i can get screen shots of the volume controll in a minute.

not sure, i did however install a new soundcard - and it never did it before i did.

my soundcard is the audigy 2 zs

my SB card bleeds across all and every track in Adobe audition I was going to get a Delta 44 tommorow to try and fix it.

All Creative cards turn on "What You Hear" in the Windows audio mixer 'cause they are designed as gaming cards to give you their "gaming experience".

Go turn it off and ONLY have the Line-in checked....

yeah that one link fixed it but now my problem is that when i go to edit mode, it doesnt play any sound
