i jus got a soundforge program and i need help i have no clue how to use it any info would help thanks peace out

Can you give us some basics like:dims_mic said:
1. Why did you get Soundforge?
2. What type of music are you going to record or edit with it?
3. Where is the music coming from - the outside world thru musicians, mics, preamps, soundcards - or from pre-recorded music you're remastering like records, tapes, or mp3s - or are you mastering your own mixes?
We don't have a clue about what you're doing either!

The manual is a very valuable tool that will help you get started. Read some of it and come back with some specific questions.

god - where do i start ?????
theres so much in forge.
i would start by taking a track you imported , hilite a piece of the track.
then experiment with the different effects using preview to give you an idea of each built in effects feature. there are tons of parameters to explore.
also learn the noise reduction feature. imho its very usefull.
if you want an explanation just ask.
really - it could take a 50 page book to describe the features.!!!!
