Very cool tune !

Love the guitars and the double kick hits....

Was there any "mastering" effects done to the stereo mixdown ?

The reason I ask is I find my final mixdowns lacking in volume compared to alot of demos I'm hearing here..

Naw no mastering man.
Everytime i try to master i just ruin it!!
Im still learning how to master with my cybertools.
I did however use a waves L3 limiter on the master bus.
Its not cropped or smashed by any means, i just got it to where itll bounce off -0.3.
Ill post new stuff up for sure.
My mix improved 50% just from the different ears and stereos hearing it.

I agree it's not smashed at all. I mixdown at -3db but I'm wondering if I should bring that up, or just not worry about it...

I dont hear a great difference between 0.0 and -0.3, but -3?
id say bring it up to -1.

I don't know enough about mixing to comment on it,but, I have probably listened to this song 100 times. It kicks ass! I love all the changes the instruments and the vocals go through.

One comment. the pad feels over separated from the rest of the mix. Seems like it is not warm enuff to me. it is a real subtle thing. like it needs a tad more low mid in it.

and I do mean tad like a db or so.
