Well I want to make beats and do crazy intros. i dont have alot of stuff I just have a Peavey xr-1600d 16 channel mixer digital,Roland vs-840 ex with a 250 zip drive, Gemini xl-500 -2 / turntable to do some scratch mix,a gemini dual cd player I use it to mix my cds or to hear music, sr-16 drum machine,a trinton key board,I hooked up my peavey mixer to my roland mixer because it has a usb on the back so I just want to hook it up to my Compaq lap top,for solfware I just have ,Reason,fruity loops 4,acid pro 4.0,cubase sx,project 5 cakewalk,tassman,moog modular V,asio directx full duplex,Sample tank, orange vocooder something like that but i just cant hook the roland to my pc can anybody help on how to hook my stuff and if you are a producer can you tell me straight out what i need and do i have something going on e-mail me rechouse@yahoo.com I know i maynot have good stuff to star off but if i need any thing i will buy it no matter what
