I Have a Mpc 2000, Korg Trinity, Jv-1010 and a planet phatt. I have my JV to itself on midi A. My trinity is my controler keyboard and i have channels 9-16(midi) on my planet phatt off. now i plan to have those for my trinity. I have the planet phatt going midi in into midi out of MPC. I dont know if i have this right but i have thru trinity going into out of planet phatt. Now can i get a correct way of doing this? Also how do I turn off channels 9-16 on trinity?

Jamal, have you looked into a midi interface, like Midi Sport 4x4? Might save you a bunch of hassles.

wrong, you can set the mpc up as the master, and go from there. Dont throw it out yet.

do you mean master seqencer? and how would that work? Do i need a computer? and can i use the 8x8 midi sport?

Jamal, sure, you can use the 8x8. The Midisports have usb interfaces, which means you need a usb port and a computer.

It should be pretty easy to do if you have software. I would just guess that if you have 4 synths, it would be much easier to work with them with a computer, so you dont have to worry a bout turning anything off, plus you can get 64 different midi tracks at the same time.
