I Need Feedback

All your beats sound pretty tight, think I liked the 0901 the best, but I'd have to listen again. The only thing negative I'd have to say, is that some of them start to have a "midi" sound to them, not even referring to the timing, but to the sound of the instruments themselves. I'd like to hear more with the vocabs though, always good to see new female rappers out there, and the vocabs probably take away from the midi ish(but I aint no professional or nothing, you'll hear better advice then from me).

Thanks for the input. I'm workin on putting more of my songs up with vocals and all of that good stuff. And I don't use fruity loops.

One.

The reason I was asking is cuz the beat is there it just sounded a litlle too digital.........Female rappers are on the rise too, so you should have good luck....especially if she's white....major labels are on the hunt for the white female version of eminem...feminem,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,A real good article in last months Vibe on the subject and Decembers issue of the Source.....

I'm new at making beats, so I'm experimenting with different sounds to see where I fit in. I'm rapping on that BTN track. I'm the black female version of eminem though.

I peeped it. I really like the second track though. You have a very nice blend of vocals on that there. The beat is tight too.

aight aqua.....you got the skills...the flows perfect.....I only have to suggestions.....1) triple your vocals to add depth....and when you chorus comes in or throughout the whole song add a hot piano lick.........But just by listenin to you...I'm gonna keep an eye out cuz your gonna go somewhere if you stick with it....holla

AquaBaby, you say your new to making beat, do you play instruments?

Read your e-mail Cwad I just replyed...........I won't be laughin if much if she sells 8 million records like em did....I'll be pissed I didn't find her first.......There some white girl in the underground who's signed wit an indie - but she don't really got it....can't remember her name....I'll have to look it up.............she uses the same lawyer as eminem though....so maybe she'll make the right contact and hit the lame mainstream......Hope not that female spot should be reserved for the right girl

Cwad,

I mess around with the keyboard, but I don't have any formal training.

aquababy:
nice beats, and i love the way the lyrical delivery plays with the beat on "bounce these...". the female rapper and the beat makes that a hit.

gec:
slick production, but of the 3 songs i listened to, the 3rd was your best from a lyrical delivery perspective, while the other two were better songs. i say that because your lyrical delivery played with the beat better in song 3, whereas in the other two you tend to squeeze words in that don't fit the beat. most of the time it's the start of phrases that you fit in before the kick falls at the top of beat 1 in the 4 beat measure. if you broke the delivery up a bit on those forced words to slide them ahead enough to fall on time it would connect better.

i'm not a lyricist, i make music and beats, but when the timing is locked right, i know it.
