I,ve been using the old cubase SX2 and just recently bought the new cubase 5 for my home P C only to findout that i couldn't install the cubase 5 into my system because my old windows only has 1.67GHz and 992 MB of Ram whereas my CUBASE 5 requires a minimum requirement of 2 GHz CPU and 1624MB of Ram. Am not really used to the technical side of things and only realized this problem when i hired an engineer to instal the new cubase 5 for me.

I have been told that i need to buy a new windows PC. Since my budget is around £500 to £600 pounds can anyone advice me on which is the best PC to buy {or whether its better for someone to build one for me} and whether its possible to transfer all the music projects i did in my old PC to my new one?

Your advice would be sincerely appreciated. :)

In that case, welcome to the bbs. And btw, I didn't mean to sound so short, but what I meant was, you will get a better response if you post questions in the relevant forum. Thats all
