I've searched through past threads and cannot seem to get a clear direction on what to do here. I would like to have an 88 key, weighted action (I think) keyboard to control/input for several devices (rackmount synths, drum machine, etc).
It is a bonus if it has its own sounds (piano, strings, etc). I currently have a D-50 that I'm using to play MIDI devices and record into Sonar. I've researched Yamaha P200, P60, Kurzweil PC88, etc. Can anyone suggest a device that would fit the bill? The budget is $500 though if it makes more sense to go to $750, I can do that. Thanks.
