Hey guys, Ive read alot about this and its looking pretty good to me, but one question, my vcrs only have the left(mono) input, will this affect my recordings?, or if I have already panned and centered everying it will stay the same?
Thanks
Chris

Mono sort of went out in the 50's and early 60's...

AND - (I'm "assuming" here, so give me a little slack) *If* your VCR only has a mono input, we can probably assume that it's really non-expensive. If that's the case, we can assume that it might be made using less-than-stellar components. If that's the case, do you really want to run your mixes to it?

That seems odd that if there's only input and it says 'left'. So what does comes out when you do this?

You need to make sure you have the right VCR to do this kind of recording. Some VCR's have analog tracks to record audio, and they sound very poor. If you are using the typical cheapo home consumer type VCR, then I think you are wasting your time.

You need at the very least a VCR with left and right audio inputs.

What with all the inexpensive soundcards out there now, I don't know why you would even want to make a subpar recording on your VCR.
