I just scored a Groove Tube AM52 Mic

I know there was a lot of buzz going around about these mics a while back about how their prices dropped so dramatically recently. I went to musicians friend to check out vocal mics and I saw an AM52 blemish model for $174! I just got paid too so I snagged it with a shockmount and some guitar strings. Heehee I got a $700 mic for under $200 Now I can afford maybe a nice mic preamp to go with it.

Those were going so cheap I was gonna pick one up regardless - alas, everytime I went to order, they were not in stock. Post some material when you can. I'd like to hear what I missed out on.

Betcha don't have a tube coffee maker, though.

You bastard! I payed close to $600 for mine about three years ago. You're gonna love it at that price for sure. The multi patterns will come in real handy.

Me? No not for a while. I haven't recieved the mic yet and chances are it will get here mid week when I'll be working overtime the whole week. That means after you add sleep time to my day I'll have about enough time to myself each day to hmm... get ready for work. Yay. But as soon as I get to doing some serious work with it I'll try to post something up.
