Lol you say that now, but once your hypothetical business accidentally ships a Gibson Les Paul instead of a crappy Starcaster, next thing you know you're suing for grand larceny. Like Bruiser said, ignorance is no defense.

Like the moralistic guidance the OP received from everyone who did not actually get two mics for the price of one...

yeah .... unlike you I owned a business. If I made a mistake I had to eat it, not the customer. And I had no real recourse although you, with your extensive business experience seem to feel differently.
Though as an honorable man it would never occur to me to screw someone else over my mistake.

I would have done exactly as I advised.

It's not business experience...it's legal experience/observation through my job. Companies sue for crap like this all the time. Just because you'd eat it (which is admirable) doesn't mean every other business does the same!

"What??!??"

Say 'What' again... I dare you... I double-dare you motherfkr... Say 'What' one more goddam time...

What?!!!

Can I just say that this is the most successful thread I've ever posted! Yeah for me!!! But not for my extra $600 bucks when it looks like I'm selling the second mc anyway. Not into this whole stereo miking but I think I can get $700 for the other mic so I'm good.

You can't separate them! They've been together from birth!

They're bastard children that should go up for adoption...well...one of them anyway.

It's true man, they're factory matched.

Even at very least in terms of money, you'd be better selling the pair, and the just buying a new mic.

But they will send him another stereo pair by mistake then we are back at square one! :laughings:

I'm not too concerned as long as I can make my money back. I really don't see the point of recording acoustic with a stereo matched pair...it doesn't sound any better to me.
