and it's really cool! better then 3 for sure for my uses... i'm sure this has been said before.

Congrats!

I've found n-Track to be perfect for me at this particular moment in time. It doesn't overwhelm you with features and a fancy GUI. It does its job, and does it fairly well. The built-in effects leave a bit to be desired (especially the reverb) but what do you expect for $50?

Congrats...enjoy. It keeps the simple things simple. But if you need advanced features, they are also there. It hasn't been void of any features that I need.

Hrm, only thing is... using it with my delta 1010... I'm noticing that even though I did buy the 24 bit version I can't seem to get it working 24bit without getting an error telling me to select the drivers i already have selected.

I had a problem with that- got a pop-up window going on about making sure my settings were lining up. I went to the n-Track forum (fasoft.com), where it was recommended I try the MME drivers, in my case- and since then it has worked fine. I can still do work at 24-Bit, etc.

It seems there are driver issues that can be solved by trying another driver.

where is my colazapn!!!

well i just downloaded the free version to see how it works. im kind of pleased with the output -- although i am addicted to the "interface" that sony vegas provides--

but i am also having a problem with ntrack "seeing" or "using" my m-audio delta66 soundcard -- it only sees the mme . . . THAT i dont like -- although im not sure if i truly hear the dif. in recording quality -- but damm i paid a nice piece of change for delta -- n i have been told by "other ears" that the delta recordings sound better - in the past when i was using sony vegas -

any other advice?
also, i posted a 1 verse drop here calledPRINCESS CUTZ please if u can, check it n let me know how the "effects" sound on the vocals - it was my first time using ntrack to record and to add compression, reverb, etc.

There's a Settings dialog box, wherein lies a checkbox that turns WDM off when you're not running audio. In parentheses next to it, it says (Keep checked when using M-Audio Delta) or something similar.

Preferences>Audio Devices>... in there. Snoop around, you're bound to find it! It's not in front of me, I have no mind for remembering 'minutae' (imagine my learning curve!). I don't know if this fixes the problem, but on the n-Track forum there are cats who are hip to this. Dude. Dig it.

I was Using MME with my US-428, and it was allright for me. However, just for kicks, I switched ASIO back on (big selling point for the US-428), and I've gotten it to work. I am, unfortunately, now experiencing another problem! I don't think it's driver-related...But Flavio seems to be pretty good about fixing things, so I remain hopeful.

I paid $75.00 for the 24-bit, and if I can tune this baby up nice and tidy, and learn the rest of what I need to know for MIDI, etc., I'll be happy.

well tlhanks i will start lookin at that tomorrow - or after i get my cpu back form the "virus killin pros" -- cuz i htink i got a few doozies on here that refuse to leave!!
