I have a box of Auralex 'metro' 2'x4' panels (12) and (2) MiniTraps (I'm sure everyone knows, but just in case there are some newbies, Ethan Winer's affiliated company, 2'X4' rigid fiberglass panels). My tracking/control combination room is 12'x13'-6". Currently I plan on diffusive panels on the back wall, NEW foam or panels behind the board/monitors (front wall), a cloud over mixing position, and to use the Auralex (one 2'x4' panel every 2' on center to 'stripe' the side walls). Ethan mentioned in an article awhile back that that configuration, and the 'checkerboard', were his recommendations for sides. Any last-minute disagreeances or alternate suggestions, or is it time to start hanging?

) and 10' at the peak...a pitched ceiling (obviously I know) running lengthwise along the 13'-6" axis. I don't have a 90 degree situation where the walls meet the ceiling on my long (mixing) axis of the room, but still curious as to whether Ethan's "striped" theory on the walls makes sense. I'm not doubting Ethan by any means, just prolonging what I need to do tonight, I guess. I am such a procrastinator
). Time to start hanging the RealTraps by where the board will be.
