Stop it, I can't breathe
Impossible...out of the question

Interesting....how did you find it without a computer?![]()
Now, that's interesting...the evenings my wife leaves the house.
But Behringer and Joe Meek don't match, you see...Pedullist said:And a Joe Meek compressor isn't a mixer. Duh.![]()
Yes, I see where you're going but it's not always the best option for homerecording guys.reflexa said:FILL THE RACK NOT THE HARD DRIVE

And neither should Creative and Cakewalk, but you guys don't take the hint!![]()
As long as your happy, I'm happy too!![]()
Cool down, Ped. We were just teasing you. It's fun to bash Behringer and SB Live. In fact, it has become somewhat of a sport around here.Pedullist said:OK, I understand what dachay2tnr is trying to say and I'm not questioning his ears, but his background seems to be much more professional then mine.
Shure!Because it is kinda funny and interesting, don't you think?
dachay2tnr said:We also tend to hate Creative Labs, since for well over a year they could not provide anyone with workable WDM drivers. Since they were unwilling or unable to provide support to Sonar musicians using their products, we don't have any qualms in bashing their products. They are making cards for gamers, not musicians, and their lack of WDM support just confirmed that opinion.

But just because you haven't tried anything else, doesen't mean that there's better sollutions out there. (And ok, maybe you've used other cards. What do I know?!?)
I have to admit, I was pretty defensive of my SB Live!/Audigy when I was using them, but I hadn't experienced anything else and thought that was the way it was. But now I've used "many" different cards past the last 9 months (in various homestudios), and Computer-Music isn't about cards with crappy drivers. Most other cards actually work!![]()
