This is a quote from Bob Ohsslon
"I have two problems with multibands.
1. the sound of two of them in series generally sucks. (Just try it!) I can count on virtually all radio and TV stations using a multiband and I don't want my masters to be "fragile" after they leave my hands.
2. they can create big translation problems because it's easy to find yourself fixing monitoring rather than underlying problems with the mix. This, needless to say, is really a trap with all forms of signal processing.
I use them when needed (first time was in 1968) but have always found other solutions to have better "legs."......"
Im sure everyone here who just presumed that i dont know how to use one has more experience than this guy.
