The drums are still a machine but I am having trouble with a tight vocal sound, any suggestions, Oh yeah the sp5b's are not giving me a true low end reference low end sounds louder on them. I only have pc speakers otherwise, Is the bass there or not?
Any advice would be great on the mix or anything you hear that needs to be addressed, I still don't grasp this whole mixing thing.
Thank you

after the intro I dont hear the drums at all anymore except for occasional crashes in between the singing phrases. The bass sounds like a Ric with all the bass turned off. have you tried turning exverything else down completely and just mix the drums and bass, then bring in the guitars and blend it, then the vocals last?

Hey Toki,

Ya know I was a little embarassed about the drums so I left them low , but the bass I can't get that round full tone. The post you made very bass driven and nice round or full sound I can't seem to get that. I will lower everything else, but do you have any suggestions to get that fuller bass sound. Is it eq or aux busing some verb? I didn't try the order you said above but will next. I guess i'll mix drum and bass like you said then listen to it mixed down to see where the bass is because the reference speakers are throwing me off.

Thanks
