Ok, so I had surgery to repair torn ligaments in my left hand and to remove a piece of bone that wasnt attached to anything in my wrist. Broke my wrist a while back and its been 4 weeks since surgery. So I decided to go into my studio and try to do something. Well after a few vicoden and motrin, all I could muster up was this little instrumental piece. Please keep in mind I play guitar mainly and so the drums are pretty plain and suck. Also there is no bass guitar in the mix. And the guitar is pretty basic and the leads suck. By the time I did the 3 guitar tracks and the drums I was in alot of pain, and gave up. I better wait a few more weeks :) Here is the link. Let me know what you think.

Oh my, alot of views and no reviews. I feel so ashamed. Let me have it dont hold back.

Keep in mind, I'm listening on cheap pc speakers, but everything sounds like it's at the end of a long tunnel. I think you need to push the guitars up in front in the mix a bit.

And it would probably sound better with bass. Do you want me to track it for you? Bass is my main instrument.

Not bad for a drug assisted instrumental...

Put headphones on and crank it up. As far as Bass track, Do it. Yea I know it has that tunnel sound. I have a new studio (900 square foot room) with no sound treatment what so ever. Everyting is on hold till Im able to finish it. Here is a link to a previous post showing pics of new room. The whole recording thing is new to me and I am learning. When you say push the guitars up front, do you mean make them louder or what? But yes send me some Bass.

Not bad! Yes, I agree that the guitars could be brought up front a little more. It sounds pretty good, though. I'd like to hear it with the bass that Rokket is adding to it. :)

Yes. Make them a bit louder, and tweek the eq in the 1000hz range (up it a tad). It'll make the guitars a bit brighter and louder; in effect, bringing them 'up front'.

PM me the details of your song (key, tempo) and I'll throw a bassline on it for you.
