This one is ready for the radio! ... OK the execs would make you cut that solo down ... oh and someone would ask you to comress it a lot ;) :)

Seriously - this sounds really good. Great job!

Yea, this moves a lot better on speakers. Disregard my earlier post about dragging...I'm sure you already have. :)

This sounds terrific! Nice beefy guitars. To be nitpicky, the auto-tune is a little apparent, but it's not real obtrusive here. You've got a great voice for this stuff man. Again, keep singing!

Dammit, Busty, you shure can sing! I like your voice! :)

Great tune, great guitars and vocals!

Actually, I was kind of nervous to hear what you thought of my tune, and I'm glad you like it. I was surprised more people didn't call me out on the whole auto-tune thing. It sounds way over abundant to me, but I knew it was my only hope at this point. That was about as tame as I could make it and still bear to listen to myself! For now, a necessary evil, I'm afraid.
To be honest, when I first posted this tune, I was sure I would be blasted for my auto-tuning, and even more so for my lyrics. It's really hard to write lyrics without feeling like an asshole poser.
Moskus: Hey, man, I didn't think you ever left the cakewalk forum! Didn't anybody's ACKUS break today? Thanks for the feedback.
sjcrts: Thanks!
Skids: Actually, I'm working on a "not-quite-a-solo" part to go there. I might even cut the length down. It's hard to go from strictly a guitar player's point of view to figuring out what's best for the song. Thanks.

Nice f-ing harmonies! Overall, a little too Creed for me (I detest them), but still very well put together, and I DID enjoy it. I have to agree with the vocals too loud and drums too weak (except the bass drum) comments, but they aren't fatal flaws or anything... just opportunities for improvement. Are you harmonizing with yourself or other band members?

Creed? Man, I don't really like them either. I didn't think I sounded like them. And there is no band. It's all me. I'm really a guitar player. I just do everything else because my schedule doesn't really allow for a band. Thanks for listening.

sounds great. your singing is great. don't worry about that anymore.

the mix sounds excellent. everything is sitting pretty well for me.

i got a question, how'd you do that thing with the snare drum at the very beginning where it sounds like the power shut down all the sudden?

For that trick I took that clip into wavelab and used the pitch bend and time strech functions till it sounded right. I was just fooling with an idea, but now it's one of my favorite parts of that song.

thanks for sharing. it's definitely my favorite part of the song. i have the trial copy of wavelab so I can't save but i'm getting closer to buying the license every time i use it. if only you could plug it into sonar.

very nice work buster. Vocals sound better on the re-mix. This stuff rocks!

Twist

Actually if you select a clip in Sonar, then go up to the tools menu, you can select wavelab, and it'll open up with your selected clip ready to go. It rocks.

Man, this would rock if it weren't for all the fucking auto-tune. Jeez, I can't believe you'd come into this clinic with that.

:D

My wife and I both liked this. The song is good... as is the recording. A little thin, though (on the gits and drums) but over-all, very nice.

And don't slam your voice... it's perfect for alt-rock/nu-metal/whatever.

Ahh...looky here; somebody's trying out the new moniker. "My wife and I..." hehehee... that's so sweet. Does it feel normal yet? (it only took me about a decade for the new to wear off).

yeah, yeah... shut yer piehole... :p :D

I've already started referring to myself as a corporate entity...

We are Borg... resistence is futile.
