I am none going nowhere
fire water earth and air
I am nothing I am none
on a stone circling the sun
Got no future I need to fret
Got no past I need to regret

I am stardust I am matter
flung together
soon to scatter
I am flesh and blood skin and bones
Born with nothing die alone

I am pleasure I am pain
I am loss and I am gain
I'm obscurity I am fame
I am praise and I am blame
I am laughter I am crying
I'm alive and I am dying

I like the lyrics. It dosen't have a lot of melody...it's seems more like a chant to me. It has a cool over all vibe and I like the way the words sound over thr chord progression. It sounds kind of dark and in my opinion some more percussion or another instrument with a brighter sound would help give it a little more high end content and balance out the mix. I enjoyed the listen beez. Good tune!

That was good Beez.

I knew you were in there somewhere. :)

That track has the lowest level of any I heard recently. I hate trying to max out a mix but this could probably use a bit more volume.

I liked it. Two chord tunes are sometimes the hardest to pull off. If you forget a chord you've fucked half the tune. If you forget a chord while playing "Good Bye Pork Pie Hat" or "Giant Steps" no one really notices.

I was waiting for a solo vox or chorus or real build of the instruments and they never came. Its a cool dark tune but I think it just needs more to keep your listener interested. The level is really low as mentioned above.

Very Pink Floydish. I'm like Bruthish, I was waiting for something to kick or change. I figure the vocals are low by design?

You may want to consider adding something in between, keep everything else, to add some flavor. Just production suggestions is all I have.

Thanks for listening and opining, everyone. I didn't realize it was so low in level. I'll fix that.
I don't mind that it's structurally repetitive, and don't really feel the need to add a chorus, but I wouldn't mind adding more sounds and layers to it. Conceptually, I was thinking along the lines of Welcome to the machine. Simple framework, lots of color.
Didn't quite hit it.

What about letting me send you some structurally repetitive perc tracks to add another layer or color. Perc tracks are like hitting your head on the wall. It feels a lot better when you finally stop.

Go for it!:thumbs up:

I like the sonic landscape. In particular I like the effects on the voice.

The stringy sound came in at just the right moment.

However, what I am hearing is a lot of mid- to low mid-range stuff, which is giving a very honky sound, and that, for me, is squeezing out the sense of spaciousness this track could have.

jordokid's suggestion about percussion is great . . . that should add stuff in the very high and very low frequency areas.

I think you have the foundation and there is plenty of room. Now is the balance of "how much". I think it is a very good start.

I like it simple as it is. It is very tense.

Oh, the synth strings in between the second and third verses are perfect.

I like it.
Can't recall what it reminds me of & that's not an issue any way.
I like it.

A track I can listen to to record with with a beginning point that will enable you to sync the tracks I send

I'm trying to get a mix from Reaper with the metronome, but I can't make it come out in the mix.:o

Don't worry about recording it with a metronome. I'd rather it didn't have one. If it's 120 bpm I can put my own clic track on it. If the file you send me starts off exactly at 1/0/0 that would be nice but if it doesn't I can deal with it. An mp3 is good enough. Tell me what kind of file you need back such as wav 24/44,1 or 16/44,1 or whatever and any suggestions you may have.
