Good song here Murder! I was not so sure at first, the verse seemed to not be going anywhere at first, then the hook (chorus) came in and I was happy :D! It reminded me of Leatherwolf. Joe, your vocals are great, as usual, and your chameleon-like ability to fit the song amazes me - it almost didn't sound like you. Everything rocked, then lead was great/tasty. Just two mix nits: I've worked with with Joe a few times, and I've found that his vocals will be exactly what is needed if you leave the tracks he sends you just like they are - nothing other than volume adjustment needed. The other nit is that the drums sound a little distorted :confused: I'm not sure...I could be high. Great job overall :D:D:cool:
 
I think the guitars in new mix might be worse. The whole thing sounds like it's inside of a glass bottle. Maybe it's the bass. But sitting here listening, I feel like I'm inside of a storage tank. Not good. I get the impression that the vocals are better than before. This mix needs to be fixed though.
 
Joe - by the way....Nice lyrics man! I really didn't read them the first time, but I want some of what you're smokin' the next time I write lyrics! :D:cool:

James - Sorry, I have not had time to listen to the remix, but I'm sure mix 3 is well underway and I'd be happy to hear that one. :D
 
Not to be a party pooper but I know I've heard this exact riff before, the whole verse even, but I just can't place it? Sounds pretty good but it sounds so damn familiar! I like the tune though. Maybe it's the genre that has me thinking I've heard it before, who knows?

Haha....yeah, it's mystical, violent, tragic, a hallucination, an acid trip....whatever. I do like to paint pictures with my lyrics, but the important thing is the tune and that came from James.;):D
 
The guitars sound way better, a lot thicker and less tinny. I think there might be a bit too much reverb on the vocals though and it's thinning out the sound. I'd have to hear the track with less reverb on the vocals to be sure though. Great mix.
