..xept there are no vocals yet...

I had the usual 1.30 song when I saw a post with different lyrics in the songwriting-forum. I went for badgas' lyrics and completed the song to fit them. Here's the result.

For you crazy streamerz!

Any comments appreciated. If you find out that it really sucks, tell me.

very nice....well recorded and nice groove....why didnt you sing it?......

I couldn't get the streaming link, nor the download link to work...and I tried several times thruout the day and last night.

maybe I need a MXLV67 to get it to work...eh, Gidge?:D

very crisp and loud recording/mixing/mastering job...has a nice groove to it...just a touch too trebly for my ears..the bass should sit lower in the mix, the drums sound great, nice playing...i need vocals brother...some popping into my head as i listen to it, would really add to the cut if there was singing..great solo at 1:57...very very nice sound from the guitars..i really like the feedback at 2:45..nice second guitar solo and breakdown...this is cruising music...nothing else to say...good job at achieving sonic equality..if you have time, come check my stuff at

different style, but you might like it...thanks, take care...keep it coming..AND SING NEXT TIME!! :)

I LOVE THAT GROOVE

man, the bass line makes me drool.

This track is extra loud, and the kick sounds sweet.

It kinda sounds a bit raw, like it needs some careful reverb glue. It also does sound a bit trebly

nice work

hey...tech support with my cable hookup has cleared up alot of my issues...so now listen...phew!...finally.

listening now...and typing....
nice long intro...I like intros...and the lead gtr sound...good. oh yeah..an instrumental...oops...getting late. It sounds nice and clean to me...ready for some killer singing to finish it off. The drums are spread nice too. I like 'em wide like you have them. Drums are really nice. Again nice gtr sound at 2:00....I can hear the repeat echos there a little better....nice touch...not too much...not too little. oops...at 3:12...a guitar mistake?? I like crispy and clear. Not too bright for me...by I have *older* ears too:D Kind of falls apart...right at the very end...last couple of seconds....maybe fixed with an earlier fade..?

really good...way above average (around here!)

Thank y'all for listening.. Maybe I'll have Emeric sing on this one, and if I'm really persistent and greasy, I might be able to persuade Slack to cough and growl on it aswell..

Thanks for complementing on the drums... I've worked quite some on them... (snare goes through EQ, compressor, overdrive and another EQ)

Gidge:
Ah yes! Fruity Loops mah groove-machine!!! :D
I don't sing because I suck.

Samich17:
Thx a bunch. I noticed the hyped brightness on my Dynaudio speakers.. I'll address that issue.. :)
Nice you noticed the feedback. :)

CyanJaguar:
OK.. so after 3 ppl pointing it out, I guess there's a groove in there.. :)
I've got a little paranoia about my bass-sound.. I have no idea how I want it to sound.. When I get some vox onto this, I'll try to make a little more thorough mix..

mixmkr:
Nice you like the tone of the lead-guitar.. I could solo through the whole song just because that sound is so sweet..:)

Meshuggah,

I thought this was going to be a "Metal" song because the band "Meshuggah" are totally heavy. That being said, this song sounds really good. Nice guitar everything. If you dont add vocals, solo through the whole thing, It would sound real sweet.

I liked it, and will check out more of your stuff when I see it posted.

Nice groove going on there Mesh.

And I know you could scratch out some vocals if you tried!

Nice unhurried development of the melody.

I didn't think the bass was too loud!

And I know what you mean about wanting to just keep jamming when you find that tone that just tickles you all over.
