Made it to San Diego and stayed with the singer for 2 days then we packed and drive to LA Thursday before he he Sat show. AWESOME fucking vibe and first time really staying in SoCal. Previous time was a trip less than 24 hrs to attend a 40th bday party of a handsome MF that posts on here sometimes. Stayed at The Ziggy: rehearsed at a space in Crenshaw, night before and had a fucking BLAST rocking The Whisky July 29

So 8 days in Southern California this time around and it is gorgeous. Sunset Steio was the most laid back place I’ve been in ages and walked it 3 nights. Lots of fur baby parents in the mornings and just a friendly artistic vibe that I didn’t expect from vids of yesteryear. Rainbow after party equally as cool and laid back, but inside reminded my of a big IHOP…maybe that was the liquor perception at that stage but big outside as our party spilled into that area. Absolute stellar everything and thanks for having us SoCal

Ziggy was awesome and had a naked body painting pool party Saturday day of our show but had to stay sober to play. Next day Sunday as we checked out then patronized the bar before leaving, there was a “tight abs” event which was a sausage fest but every MF guy in there was in bootcamp shape in Speedo’s and they were all cool to us.
Pretty sure I saw “Heavymusic3000” imprint in back of one of their Speedo’s but wasn’t looking close enough to say for sure. Wouldn’t’ve surprised me one bit though

It was singer Tommy’s bday and he stayed sober for soundcheck and the show, notsomuch for after party at the Rainbow. It was an awesome fucking time, every second of it from night before rehearsal in a rental studio on Crenshaw to soundcheck (we’ll that kinda sucked because the newbies before us ran over their SC time and the hungover sound man gave us 5 mins so he could make up their time. They binned sonthere is justice in the world: little conceited fucking kids
