hum hum!

ey guys, i am using a peavey 5150 half stack with a metal zone, and a crate shockwave half stack. i have so mucxh hum! how can i get rid of it? the lights make some of the hum, so i turned em off, and still, hum! any help will help greatly.

Get rid of the Metal Zone, you have a fucking good distortion coming from your 5150. The sound will come clearer and richer. By the way, are u using humbuckers, single coils or active pickups?

Are you close to a tv or computer monitor or very close to your amp? Might check the grounds and shielding on your guitar as well!
