I recently bought a Behringer Virtualizer EFX Processor. Last night, I noticed a low hum coming from the machine. I isolated the hum to that machine, by turing everything on and off, one at a time. I've checked the wires to see if any of the power cords are mixed up with the send and receive wires. They aren't.

Does anyone know what may be happening here? Also, does anyone own this piece? Have you had the same problems that I am having?

I may have to send it back, but I wanted to make sure that there wasn't some kind of user error.

I had the same problem with the Behringer
DSP1000pro. I also cecked my wiring and realized that the power cord was plugged into the same outlet as my amp of which the
wires from the amp were running parrallel to the DSP's power cord . I simply removed the amp powercord from the strip and ran to a different outlet away from the DSP. This problem was also had when i previously owned a Behringer mx2624 mixer which had the same annoying hum, and again I removed the power cord away from other outboard devices and the computer.(The mx2624 does not have a power switch as to nullify any humm, nut that still did not work). I have seen other threads where simply plugging in certain Behringer products in thier own separate outlet usually eliminates most humm.
