This one is literally nothing but plug-ins and automation. I normally don't use many effects anyway (not saying I track carefully, just don't use too many effects) so I took the challange backwards. Or, you could probably say, I'm just being a smart ass.:D

I used the signal generator plug-in on Protools LE to make sin waves and saw tooth waves. Then I just ran them through reverb and delay. So you could say it's all effects.

So against my better judgement...

It's called "blah" towards the bottom of the page.

Okay, it's offical: you're weird.:)

Kinda sounds like a boat tossing in the middle of the night in the middle of the ocean (possible title: "ocean wavs"?). On some slow weird song this would sound cool fading in and out.

I don't really know what a saw tooth wav is, but I like to say it: saw tooth wav.

Holy Freak out batman....It was like aliens landing on the planet or something. It also reminded me of the crazy choir music in 2001 A Space Odyssey-almost scary.....Call me crazy but I'll listen to stuff like this anytime.

Oh and pretty good for no clean sounds. :D

Ah, finally....I was waiting for someone to post something like this. I almost posted a fxtothemax-mix myself.

Thanks Fprod South

I always try to make music like this but it always ends up in a slick pop song.

I envy you! :D

Ahhh...I count on you for experimentation man. Here's a bump for now. I'll try to hit this after work.

I deserved that. And the one star too:D

Thanks for checking it out. Ped, I'm downloading some Troja.
I've got a friend who makes really bad movies and I think I'll offer this to him to use as soundtrack stuff, so long as he doesn't credit me.

lol. I gotta listen to this.. one sec....

I like it! Weird (but aint that the point? :D)

Close your eyes and imagine a completely empty space, with stars in the background, and with nothing but this noise (of course space is a vacuum so you'd have to have a personal stereo on whilst floating about, if you wanted to freak yourself out lol).

Good stuff

The guitar is a bit muddy and sloppy.
Tight bass though.
The drums definately need some auto-tune.
I don't speak Venusian but I bet the lyrics are good.

:D

Love the NWR description: "I'm sorry."

I was smart enough to go fishing before this. :)

I can't believe you did a N'sync cover.

Gimmie more:!! D I was just getting into that with the visualization thing in musicmatch when it ended. You just gotta do a visualization thing to really appreciate this one.

Paging,,, James Argo

someone has to tell james argo this is here:D:D

Peace

LOL!

It's like an old sci-fi movie soundtrack. Some of it reminds me of playing with the regen & delay knobs on an analog delay. A guy I knew cooked his Memory Man doin that too much.

Too bad I don't get stoned anymore. This would be great!:D

nooo! What happened to my one star?!?!?!
You guys weren't supposed to like this!
But it sure was fun to make - obviously a result of going fishing in the morning, or um, doing what M Brane used to do.

I really like this kind of stuff when I'm in the mood. I used to play in a band called the Sturgeon Generals and we did crap like this; had a movie screen behind us and had a student film maker run his shorts behind us, meanwhile we noised out for about an hour and freaked everyone out. It was a lot of fun. This reminds me of som eof that stuff. I like the approach you took towards this though with the sine waves.

We sail through endless skies,
Stars shine like eyes,
the black night sighs
The moon in silver dreams
falls down in beams,
Light of the night
The earth, a purple blaze
of sapphire haze in orbit always

While down below the trees,
bathed in cool breeze,
Silver starlight breaks down from night
And so we pass on by
the crimson (eye / knife)
of great god Mars
as we travel the universe

Hey, I hope you didn't think *I* gave the one star! I never do the star thing. In fact, I don't even know how.

Oh... "select a rating.".... that must be how.

I should go to bed now.
