...it would be too much fun. We'd certainly have to travel a lot of miles but it would be a blast!

I've been known to walk a mile for a camel! ;)

flat-9's mother,

"9, you stop playing with your organ."

9, all out of breath,

"I'm allmost done, ooh aaah, there we go."

Another perfect recording.

That was awesome!!

1).......... but whatever the hell you got that acoustic bass sound with, I want....I NEED "THAT." ...... 2) You're a freaking MONSTER...I can barely HEAR that fast, let alone play anything that fast.

What a fun post! LOL, & thank you for all the listens and kudos.

1)The acoustic bass is a Roland JV patch that I've tweaked the hell out of goofing with the ADSR and velocity sensitivity. I don't know what you've got for equip, but if you'd like me to send you the specs on it or a CD with chromatic samples @ various velocities, just say the word. Personally I think the patch still needs more adjusting esp in the bottom register. When attempting to emulate an instrument on the keys it's soooo important that the player capture the essence of the particular
axe. It makes the patch so much more credible. I,ve got some nice guitar samples, but if I approach them w/ my keyboard mentality, they sound like crap.

2) You hear just fine layerman! Fireball licks are cool & have their place, but it's all about the feel.... and you're all over that Chris!

haha...very nice man. It's got a great hook, and would rotate very nicely on any major radio station.
.........By the way, I'm a pretty big Kerouac fan. Ever read Desolation Angels? Good stuff...though On The Road is an obvious classic too.

LMAO about the 'rotation' :D :D :D ....maybe "W(SIK)" 66.6 FM radio from hell! ;)

Yeah, I love Jack. My personal fav is The Town And The City....hey, what can I say, It's a Lowell thing!

Talk about manuscripts, did you ever see any of Jack's handwritten scrolls? Unfrigginbelievable! Entire novels rolled on one parchment! What a sick, twisted loveable lush! :p

Thanks man!

Yeah, This is PART A of a -12db experiment. I usually have the levels pinned to the ceiling and am anxious to get to PART B (mix and effects in a week or 2.)

My fav device in this piece is [tension/release], esp @ :49 where it is akin to a racehorse breakin free from restraints (:40 thru :48)

Thanks for the listen!
