How's the low end?

Just wanted to get an opinion on the bass/kick/general low end of this song I've been working on. :D

 
The kick is fine. I could use more bass, or at least I more defined bass. Its a little muddy down there. Good tune, me likey. Good lyrics. :)
 
Sounding pretty good...I agree with David that it could use a bit more difinitive bass sound...it's not horrible, but it's sort of muddled. Vocals sit well, and mesh pretty evenly with the guitar.
 
Yeah, the bass is a bit fuzzy. I have a blend of DI bass and miced bass amp and I think the bass amp might need to be high passed to get rid of the fuzz and just use that for a little high end definition. I guess I'll have to toy with that.
 
I'd like to see more low in the bass and a little more low end in the kick my self.
I like to feel the kick. I can feel the toms (wich sound good) over the kick.
