Yeah, it's the nylon string version.

Appreciate your running it through the SansAmp.

steve morse

Yo,

JR#97, the Steve Morse model is awesome! It can get so many sounds because its fitted with 2 Hums and 2 singles. Thats 4 pickups with 13 different pickup combinations, its nuts. The out of phase stuff of course is really noisy with some distortion on. Bu this thing never goes out of tune. I have it with the Floyd Rose on it and I never have any problems at all with it. It feels good and sounds great, very capable of getting a variety of sounds. Anyone familiar with Steve Morse knows that he can easily switch his sound to some country/bluegrass rock to a soaring lead easily.

Peace,

Matt

With the wife at home, things are shaky financially.. I really want to finish my little studio, but i gotta sink further in the quicksand to make that happen. I've never been happier otherwise.

Epiphone (or Fender Strat copy) through a Digitech RP-100 through a Crate GT80x on a clean tube setting.

Bass is a Peavy Foundation through a Zoom 506II.

Doing fine, thanks for asking.

My guitar is an Alvarez strat copy, that I dearly love.

I run it through a Pod 2.0, into a Zoom MRS-4 four track.

From there I listen through, smallish one way speakers.

Very happy with the sound.

I have a Danelectro Fish and Chips on order, feel like a kid waiting for a new toy!!

I'm doing fine also. Will celebrate 31 years of marriage next month. My job is great, will retire in 4 years to a life of recording, playing golf and travelling. Enjoy recording acoustic, nylon, and electric guitars using Cakewalk Guitar Traks Pro. Just got a Roland XP-30 off of eBay and am having alot of fun with it.

thanks for asking,

rpe

i'm ok.....

right now it's 11:29 and i just got through putting together a train set for my 2 yr old ,todays his birthday ,my job is cool enough just got a promo to day shift ...my band just got a gig in a restaraunt/bar uptown it'll be our first real paying gig 5 of us looking at 75$s a piece for one night maybe thats not alot i don't know i'm in it for the fun but i'll take all the money i can get .....
main guitar right now is a 2002 amer strat schaller locking tuners, lsr roller nut, pure nickel wrapped ernie ball .010's, seymour duncan hot rails bridge PU,into a boss compressor, metal zone, acoustic simulator,CE5 chorus,DD5 delay,NS2 noise suppressor, then into a peavey classic 50 ....was using the last 3 in the effects loop but started using them in front of th amp liking it better so far ....peace out ...good thread also

I'm doing pretty good, thanks....

I have 6 guitars and a bass...

Lately I been playing my ESP M-II through my Boss VF-1 into my Roland Cube 15 practice amp... it shreds...

I need to get my shit together and start doing some recording... been buying lots of new equipment, now I need to use it...:p

Phyl - Really liked listening to your work in progress, 'Broken Rule'. Liked the string part but not the voicing (I realize it was only a rough sketch, just my $0.02). Finish that one and shop it around, it's that good!

Personally, I'm doing fine. Thanks for asking!

I have a Les Paul Custom and an SG. I record direct through a GT-3 which I'm looking to upgrade to either the GT-6 or the PodXT.
I can't quite decide on an amp that I like and fits into my budget. (I believe that's an oxymoron ) I haven't given up on the idea because I really want to record a mic'd amp.

Enjoyed reading through all of the posts and seeing that everyone (with exception of some girl problems) is doing well. :)

Lambo - thanks for the good word.

I'm planning on using my Giga studio setup for the string and piano parts. I've got the Giga Piano and Garritan orchestral Strings (GOS) libraries.

I'll be intereted in your impressions after you try the GT-6. Some folks say the GT-3 and GT-5 series had better sounding distortion; I've heard those units used a lot more analog circuitry than the newer GT-6. I owned a GT-6 for quite some time, it was my backup rig when I gigged.

life is good...gotta great wife, beautiful 2 yo daughter and another daughter on the way. been really happy with my studio lately.

my main rig would be a mm axis or sillouette special through a 5150 II or an old JCM 800 or a Silver Jubilee into a couple 1x12's, a 2x12 or 4x12, all loaded with vintage 30's.

thanks for asking.

Congrads on the new kid. Do you have any recordings of the Sillouhette Special? I love mine.

thanks!

i can't think of a track i've done with the silhouette. i actually bought it as a utility guitar for different tunings and i'm very happy with it. also looking forward to using the piezo pickup on something.

i've been locked in doing drum tracks for various things in my studio for the past 4-5 months. there are too many guitar players and not enough drummers and bassists (bassists especially) around here.
